On behalf of the World Deaf Golf Federation, it is my pleasure to welcome all competitors, officials and supporters to the 2015 European Deaf Open Golf Championship. Our sincere appreciation goes to the Oslo Deaf Sports Club for organising this event, to the officials, staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to make these tournaments so enjoyable for everyone. I also extend thanks to Hauger Golf Club and its members for making their superb golf course available for this championship.

The Championships are looked forward to with great enthusiasm and are the highlight of the season for most players, as it brings together the most talented Deaf golfers in Europe to compete at the highest level of team golf in a competitive and friendly manner.

My best wishes to all teams, officials and supporters and I hope that all have an enjoyable week and that many lasting friendships are made.
