The Irish Deaf Golf Union had just wrapped up their 14th Irish Deaf Golf Championship on July 2nd and 3rd, 2011.  Don Conway, Cathy McCormack, and Geoffrey McCormack finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively.  Congratulations to all the Irish Deaf golfers for their tournament!  Check out the leaderboard on the IDGU website.

The Canadian Deaf Golf Championships was concluded on July 21st with new champions:  Jonathan Rose of Ontario for Men’s, Marilyn Beernink of Ontario for Ladies’, and Robert Cundy of Alberta for Senior Men’s.   The Canadian Deaf golfers deserve a pat on their backs for completing 3 rounds of golf competition!  For results, check out the London Deaf Club website:  Men’s, Women’s, and Senior Men’s.
