The golf season has started already in the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere nations are just wrapping up their seasons.
Australia held their championships recently in the first weekend of May – check out results on their new website. Congratulations to Jack Besley of Victoria on his Men’s Championship victory; Karon Fowler of Victoria on her Ladies’ Championships; and Alan Bitters of Western Australia for Senior Men’s Championships. The State of Victoria won the State Championship.
England completed their championship during the May 29th weekend and the results are available in the EDGA website. Martin Anderson came away with the championship by 8 strokes and Mark Forrest, the 2010 National Champion, was the runner-up.
