At the invitation of ICSD, President Simeon Hart and Board Member Arne Lundquist travelled to Lausanne, Switzerland to attend the inaugural meeting with ICSD and all International Deaf Sport Federations (IDSFs) responsible for basketball, chess, football, and golf. Hart and Lundquist had good informative and interactive discussions with ICSD and other IDSFs. This is the first time in the history of WDGF, also for other IDSFs, that a formal meeting has been held with ICSD.
During the Lausanne visit, WDGF took the opportunity to meet with Aurélia Tacchini, Project Manager, at the IGF office. The meeting was productive and WDGF has learned of more information regarding inclusion of golf in all disability and Deaf sectors.
The WDGF thanks ICSD for the opportunity and congratulates ICSD on the milestone of the MOU signed with IOC on 9 March 2016.
